Intent

Our 'Switched On' computing curriculum aims to enable pupils to not just understand the hardware they use within school but how different forms of software are created to bring their games and applications to life. Our curriculum aims to allow pupils to 'look under the hood' and develop programmes, test bugs and communicate with the global community in a safe and encouraging environment. Throughout the pupils ICT journey, E-safety is taught and celebrated to enable pupils to not only identify how to keep themselves and each other safe but to understand where they can go when they feel worried online.
